ATS9351: SyncBoard 2x

If your application requires more than 2 channels for data acquisition, you can synchronize multiple digitizers on all platforms using a Master/Slave SyncBoard 9351.  SyncBoard 9351 is a mezzanine board that connects to the Master/Slave connector along the top edge of the ATS9351 and sits parallel to the motherboard.

SyncBoard 9351 2x allows a 2-board Master/Slave system with single-slot spacing for 4 channels of data acquisition.  If you require 2-slot spacing between ATS9351 cards to support a motherboard that spaces out the on-board x8 or x16 slots by two slots, use the SyncBoard 9351 2x-W.

Synchronize up to four ATS9351 boards for up to 8 channels of data acquisition using the appropriate SyncBoard 9351.

Complete synchronization between Master board and all Slave boards

The Master board's clock and trigger signals are copied by the SyncBoard 9351 and supplied to all the Slave boards. This guarantees complete synchronization between the Master board and all Slave boards. SyncBoard 9351 allows the use of variable frequency clocks in Master/Slave configuration. A Master/Slave system samples all inputs simultaneously and also triggers simultaneously on the same clock edge.

For optimal trigger accuracy, only the Master board is allowed to trigger the acquisition system.
